BLACKBURN Council were reported recently as saying they will do everything possible to deal with anti social behaviour by tenants on their housing estates.
Unfortunately, in many cases either their hands are tied by unreasonable legislation or else some people are above the law.
From what I observe from my flat and from speaking to friends on a nearby estate, it seems that a family who were evicted last year are still on the estate.
The children continue to live with other tenants and are still damaging properties and distressing other tenants.
It is time the Government gave the councils more powers to deal with these people so that decent folk would take up the offer to live in what the council calls its top class houses.
