Christmas comes but once a year - or twice at St Gabriel's Church, Blackburn.
In the middle of summer, congregation members are getting festive to celebrate Christmas Day on Sunday, July 28. And in August, they will celebrate Easter, Pentecost and the Epiphany.
The celebrations are part of a six-week journey through the Christian calendar being held at St Gabriel's during the summer.
Church curate the Rev Brian McConkey explained: "We will be having special services over a six week period throughout the school summer holidays.
"It is a way of teaching the pupils from St Gabriel's School more about the special events in the church calendar. The Christmas service will be extra special because it is all too easy for people to forget the true meaning of Christmas in the rush of the festive season."
