REVELLERS raised the roof - and the SuperScan Appeal total - with a disco at Hoddlesden Conservative Club.
Organisers Debra Wood and Gill Whitcher presented their cheque for £500 to Ian Ashton, Darwen chairman of the SuperScan Appeal who gave them a silver award for their efforts.
Superwalk entries have once again given a major boost to the total which now stands at £189,013.
The 20-mile trek in May has so far raised £34,000 but appeal chairman Mike Trickett says there are still people who have not yet collected their money and he is desperate to hear from them.
The money is being raised to buy a magnetic resonance imaging scanner for East Lancashire which will be housed at Blackburn Royal Infirmary. It can detect life-threatening diseases, can determine sports injuries and identify bone and tissue problems.
People who want to help the appeal can contact chairman Mike Trickett on 01254 687146, or regional chairmen Terry Barber (Blackburn) 202495; Ian Ashton (Darwen) 01200 442500 or 01254 703666; Mary Barnes (Ribble Valley) 01200 25386; Neil Beecham (Burnley) 01282 692684 or Peter Johnson (Pendle) 01282 863505.
