A PARK suffered its worse attack of vandalism in memory, according to council officials.
Wreckers tore up the showpiece flowerbed containing 1,400 plants at Darwen's Bold Venture Park.
Mr John Firth, Blackburn Council's principal assistant for parklands, called the attack 'wanton vandalism' and said the police had been informed. He said there was nothing worth saving from the park's main flowerbed.
