THE drinks are on lucky landlord Terry Egan who won a brand new Peugeot 106 in a competition at his local service station.
Terry, landlord of The Swan in Bacup, uses the Market Street Service Station every day for newspapers and petrol.
And his loyalty won him the new car when the Total station took part in a national month-long promotion.
Terry handed over his TOPS card to attendant Michael Harrison. When it was inserted in the machine, the song Congratulations began to play and it announced that Terry had won one of only four cars to be given away in the promotion.
Manager Sara Wilkins said: "I am so pleased the car has gone to someone local. Terry is a good customer."
There were more than 450,000 prizes in the promotion including a bike a day, sweets and drinks.
