THE bravery of cancer sufferer Ragen Lonsdale inspired cyclists Arthur Mayor and Stephen Birtwistle to take on a gruelling 256-mile trip.
The duo rode from Blackburn to Scarborough and back to raise funds for the Ragen appeal.
It is aiming to send the tough little six-year-old and her family on a dream trip to Disney World in Florida.
Ragen is recovering from cancer. She has already had two major operations to remove growths from her kidney and lung.
In just two months, well wishers have raised £3,000 towards the £7,000 needed to send Ragen and her family on the trip.
Her aunt Beverley Lonsdale has been bowled over by people's generosity.
She said: "We were delighted when Arthur and Stephen decided to support the appeal; they are hoping to raise around £500.
"We can't believe the support we have had so far. It is incredible."
Ragen is currently in remission and seems to be recovering well - but the next six months are critical.
