LANCASHIRE engineering firms are being invited to join a trade mission to Iran.
The Engineering Industries Association's staging the event to help firms break into a lucrative market. Iran has a well developed industrial infrastructure with a significant demand for engineering equipment.
"Response to participate in the mission has been good but we have a few places left for companies who may be interested in joining us," said Julia Moore of the EIA.
The five day mission leaves on November 14 and will be led by Colonel Bill Williams, former director general of the association.
