ROCKER Colin Hendry completed the latest leg of a unique musical world tour this week.
Blackburn Rovers' star defender broke off from pre-season training and stretched his vocal chords instead as a VIP guest at Canadian crooner Bryan Adams' concert in Huddersfield.
Among other guests to join him on stage were Manchester United's Gary and Phil Neville and David Beckham.
Rovers team mate Alan Shearer was also among the crowd during Tuesday night's concert at the McAlpine Stadium.
The Premiership rivals ignored footballing differences and concentrated on the music, although they did not escape a bit of banter from Bryan Adams himself.
The concert was the latest in a long line of stage appearances by Colin, who admits to have rock music in his blood.
He shared a stage with Rod Stewart at Madison Square Garden as the Scotland squad prepared for the European Championships with a trip to America.
After sharing a stage of a different kind with Rod Stewart and Alan Shearer, which was the biggest thrill?
Said Colin: "My heart says Rod Stewart but my head says Alan Shearer; so it has to be Alan!"
