THE funeral of a man, who died after receiving head injuries outside a Blackburn nightclub, is set to take place on Monday more than three weeks after his death.
Kevin Sudall, 22, of View Road, Darwen died following an incident outside the Club Euro nightspot in Ciceley Lane, Blackburn, on Saturday, July 6.
A post mortem examination by a Home Office pathologist revealed the former St Bede's School pupil died from head injuries.
Three people have appeared in court charged in connection with his death.
Funeral arrangements have been delayed while defence examinations of the body were carried out.
A spokesman for Darwen Funeral Services said: "A funeral cortege will leave the family home in View Road on foot at 10.40am for a funeral mass at the Sacred Heart and St Edward's Church at 11am."
The funeral party will then leave for Darwen Eastern Cemetery where Kevin will be buried.
