GERRY Harrison, Marlon Beresford and Gary Parkinson, who have still to agree new contracts at Turf Moor, are all included in Adrian Heath's plans for the Northern Ireland tour.
The Burnley boss had no hesitation in naming the trio in his party to travel, along with Paul Weller who is expected to sign a new deal soon.
Heath is set to take an 18-strong squad to Northern Ireland and everyone will be involved as they face a hectic programme of five games beginning against Coleraine tomorrow night.
And the manager expects it to be a very useful workout.
"I have been there before and I know from experience that the games will be competitive," he said.
That should provide the perfect platform for Bambo and Torsten Boer to show Heath just what they can do and earn a permanent move to Turf Moor. Recent midfield signings Nigel Gleghorn and Damian Matthew will also be able to use the trip to settle in with their new team-mates.
Providing Harrison and Mark Winstanley shake off niggling strains that have affected them recently, Burnley are expected to take the following players:
Beresford, Russell, Swan, Robinson, Eyres, Brass, Harrison, Parkinson, Weller, Nogan, Winstanley, Hoyland, Gleghorn, Boer, Bambo, Matthew, Thompson, Smith.
"We have been lucky with injuries during the build-up," said Heath.
"When you have had a break, you always get problems with blisters and things like that but, happily, we haven't really had anything serious.
"A couple of the lads have picked up slight strains but, other than that, we seem to have a clean bill of health."
Meanwhile, before completing his preparations for the trip, the Burnley boss was in the transfer market again. He allowed defender Wayne Dowell to join neighbours Rochdale on a free transfer. The left back will link up at Spotland with other former Turf Moor players John Deary and Andy Farrell.
