NEWSQUEST Media Group, owner of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph and Citizen Newspapers, is set to offer a revolutionary new service for advertisers on the Internet.
Newsquest is part of a consortium of eight leading regional newspaper groups which together boast more than 70 per cent of classified advertisements placed in British newspapers.
Soon customers will have their pick of the country's classified columns at the touch of a button when ADHunter comes on stream early next year.
It will combine JobHunter, AutoHunter and PropertyHunter, giving Internet users access to more than half a million job, car and home advertisements in what will be the largest such market in the country.
Internet users will be able to access the database for free but other paid-for services, such as search profiles, will also be made available. ADHunter will also sell national advertising and sponsorship space.
