DARWEN were well beaten when they went to Netherfield despite a battling half-century from Graeme Parkinson.
The home side batted first and Graham Clarke starred with 112 as Netherfield made 252 for six before declaring.
Parkinson's 50 was the only bright spot in the Darwen reply. They were bowled out for 95 and former Clitheroe professional Ian Wrigglesworth took six for 25.
