WHETHER one agrees or disagrees with the action of the Warton four, we are left with the question: Do the British share in the responsibility when private companies manufacture and export armaments, land mines and military aircraft mainly to right wing regimes?
Now that British holidaymakers are going much further afield and may become involved in politically inspired violence, is it not time that we urged upon the government and opposition that some kind of check is placed on the reckless entrepreneurs within our midst?
The British abroad will only be respected if we acknowledge that we live in one world and that we care for others as they care for us.
