IT'S here at last! After months of meticulous planning, everything is in place to make Burnley's first carnival for many years a great success.
The fun starts at 11am on Saturday with a procession of colourful carnival floats making their way around the town centre.
The it's onto Towneley playing fields, where there will be an array of family entertainment, including a funfair, stunt teams, stalls, music, a variety of exhibitors to suit most tastes, and the attraction which could be the highlight of the day - racing camels!
Alan Boys, spokesman for the organisers, Burnley 300 Round Table, said: "All the proceeds will go towards good causes in Burnley, so please come along and enjoy a great day for all the family. Let's party!"
The procession starts and ends at Fulledge recreation ground. Floats turn left into Todmorden Road then go along Parliament Street, Finsley Gate, Manchester Road, Red Lion Street, round the Keirby roundabout and back along Yorkshire Street and Todmorden Road.
