A COLNE man escaped injury when his car was 'bombed' from an M-way bridge.
Francis Heyes, 31, of Talbot Street, Colne, was driving on the M65 motorway when four boys threw an object from the bridge at Lomeshaye interchange, Nelson. It smashed the windscreen of the car and the four boys ran off.
Inspector David Threlfall said: "This could have caused a very nasty accident."
