YOUNG actors and actresses in Hyndburn are being given the chance to stage their own shows when a summer drama school returns to the area for its tenth season.
Professional actor and writer John D Slater is once again holding drama courses in the borough during the school holidays.
Youngsters, between the ages of eight and 13, can join either the beginners or advanced classes.
The courses run from Monday to Friday, August 16, at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre in Union Road.
The two weeks will end with performances staged by all those involved and they will be open to members of the public.
John D Slater is well known for his theatre work with young people and has been featured on television and radio programmes.
Information leaflets and enrolment forms are available at Hyndburn Council offices and the Tourist Information Centre at Accrington Town Hall.
