CLAUSTROPHIC patients worried about undergoing a scan will soon have help available to them at the touch of a button.
Thanks to Royal Preston Hospital's Senior Radiographer Jane Kilkenny, patients will be able to watch a video preparing them for the process of going for a scan.
Jane, who works in the Neuro X-ray Department, made the video as part of her MSc at Lancaster University.
The ten-minute tape explains every stage of the scanning process - which involves lying inside a tube within a magnetic field 10,000 times the force of gravity.
