Tall tales ahead! AUTUMN may be barely with us, but Burnley Youth Theatre are already looking ahead to Christmas!

The young thespians will be wishing upon a star this Yuletide with a production of the classic Pinocchio.

And they are looking for youngsters who fancy appearing on stage with them! Auditions are being held in Burnley next weekend for 10 to 21-year-olds who think they can make the grade.

The popular tale will include songs from the Disney movie and runs for 12 performances in December.

If you think you can wow the talent spotters, head for Burnley Mechanics on September 15 between 10am and 4pm. There will be a £1 charge for all those auditioning, to cover hire charges.
