FRONT-LINE professionals in the war against drugs said have thank you to teenagers in Nelson.
The youngsters, all students at Edge End High School, worked through the summer holidays to create a play to help Asian parents prevent their children from becoming associated with drugs.
The play, Sign of the Times, was the story of how a young man could get drawn into using and supplying drugs, and the consequential bad effects for both himself and his family.
Everyone involved was presented with a certificate by Lancashire's Drugs Action Team acknowledging their achievement .
Senior probation officer Ian Galbraith said: "The performances were packed and it has got the community talking about how they can work together to stop young people drifting into drug use."
