FIVE years ago Gary Elliott felt dizzy if he tried to stand on a bar stool.
Now he feels perfectly at home clambering onto the roof of Leigh's town centre Spinning Jenny pub where he is assistant manager.
And next month he'll set his sights even higher - he's out to conquer Mont Blanc at 15,872 ft the highest peak in the French Alps!
Gary, 27, hopes to raise £1,000 in sponsorship for the National Children's Hospice by serving up his tallest order to date.
Fearless Gary explained:"I started climbing because I wanted to overcome my fear of heights. I took a rope and went abseiling at a quarry at Anglezarke and I haven't looked back.
"I've climbed Ben Nevis but Mont Blanc is my biggest challenge yet. I'm hoping people will support me to raise funds for a very worthy charity."
