BLACKBURN councillors voted to change the name of the town's Market Avenue to Mandela Way, as a tribute to the black South African freedom fighter Nelson Mandela, after a fierce debate.
Lancashire Police were hoping the BBC's Crimewatch programme would help them unearth a vital clue to catch the thieves who stole a £15,000 Turner watercolour from Burnley's Towneley Hall.
