MOVE over Michael Caine and make room for the real Italian job.
Four Darweners wowed a Mediterranean crowd when they picked up their drums and cymbals and gave the performance of a lifetime.
The talented group are all members of the Darwen District Scout and Guide Band and were staying in the southern Italian town of Fuscaldo when they were called up for a spot of music-making.
Mark Walsh, Chris Bolton, Dean Ingham and Scott Pollard were spending two weeks holidaying with the Bold Venture Park scout group when they we asked to join the town's festival weekend.
Kitted out in full uniform, the quartet set off from the town's scout headquarters followed by their group and three leaders.
They joined the main parade at a local church and followed Fuscaldo's brass band through the town's narrow streets.
Mark said: "We got back to the square and lots of people were there, clapping and cheering us all and our band.
"We felt great. It was sad when we had to finish but the experience of playing in Italy was ace."
Bandmaster David Walsh said: "It was a great opportunity for the boys and they did superbly. We're all very proud of them."
