WITH reference to the letter by Mr G. Stewart (last week's Journal Mailbox).
Many parents let their children out at night, not knowing that they are going to be on motorbikes.
My parents were one of these, as my brother, Eamonn, died as a result of being on a motorbike. It's not the parent's fault. How about blaming the people who buy and sell these contraptions; they are not fit for the road, the brakes don't work and the lights don't work.
The bikes are bought so cheaply it's no wonder young kids can buy them.
Our family will never be the same thanks to these people.
