LUCKY lollipop lady Hazel Martindale was celebrating today after scooping £106,000 on bingo.
The mother-of-three's numbers came up at the new Riva Club in Blackburn last night.
But Hazel, who had not played bingo for more than 10 years, has vowed not to hang up her lollipop stick!
She said: "I can't believe it. But I will not be leaving my job. I have been doing it for 15 years and I love it." Hazel, 51, who patrols a school crossing at Ewood, said she would also continue to work as a dinner lady at St Bartholomew's CE School in Bolton Road.
She is planning a holiday to Florida next year with husband John and children Dean, 26, Wayne, 23 and Damian, 19. She is also planning to extend her kitchen.
Hazel shouted house in the National Bingo Game after only 35 numbers and her final number, 81, won her the top prize of £106, 571 and 68 pence!
