A WINNING draw wasn't enough to earn Glazebury CC the Cheshire Association crown.
The draw against Cheshire County Officers was their last CA match at Hurst Lane and a win would have secured the title.
But the visitors hung on at 100-8 in reply to Glazebury's impressive 191-9.

Glazebury then romped in with Simon Green hammering 34 in a total of 76-1.
Glazebury 2nd beat leaders Halton Millfield by 40 runs. They hit 131-9, then bowlers Tom Milmine (3-44) and Leon Lawrence (3-11) did the damage as the visitors fell for 91.
