VOLUNTEERS are needed to run a youth club in Lowton.
Wigan Council's Youth Service team plan to start a youth club for 11-14 year olds in Lowton Youth and Community Centre on Friday evenings.
Volunteers need no qualifications, except a liking for young people, enthusiasm and patience. Training and support will be given.
The minimum age for volunteers is 16 but there is no maximum.
Anyone interested should attend a meeting at 7pm in Lowton Youth and Community Centre, Newton Road on Friday, September 20.
More details about this project and any other activities for young people in Lowton and Golborne are available from the area youth service co-ordinator, Julie Hilling on 01942 828835.
