IF you are one of the two million people in this country who consult their doctor each year with back pain, you will be interested to hear that the Arthritis & Rheumatism Council (ARC) has published a special booklet just for you.
It is intended to help anybody suffering from back pain and 'slipped disc' disorders, and its aim is to inform readers on how it develops, how it can be treated and ways to prevent its recurrence.
The booklet explains about the causes of back pain, disc problems, diagnosis, treatment and gives the answers to the most commonly asked questions about the condition.
