GREEK soccer star George Donis and wife Despina are celebrating the birth of their second son Anastasios, who weighed in at 8lb.

The pair, who live in the Ribble Valley with their young son Chris, were over the moon when Anastasios was delivered at Queen's Park Hospital in Blackburn.

Since the birth, the star who joined Blackburn Rovers from Panathinaikos celebrated with an outstanding performance on the pitch - the flying winger scored against Everton on Saturday.

Delighted Despina said: "We are both very happy. The birth was normal and there were no problems."

She added: "He may be a footballer like his father. We will have to wait and see!"
