HEARTBROKEN holiday-makers were left in the lurch when an East Lancashire holiday firm went bust.
People who had booked for sunshine holidays in Spain with Blackburn-based Club Meridian Holidays were given a rude awakening in the middle of the night from the firm's receivers and told "Sorry there's no holiday for you."
Many were left stranded at bus stations across the area for coaches that never turned up.
