MANAGERS will be helped to overcome 'technophobia' at an event tomorrow.
A presentation on the uses and importance of the Internet has been organised by ELTEC's Lifetime Training programme in conjunction with the Institute of Management.
"The Internet has great potential as a vehicle for changing the way East Lancashire business is conducted but this has yet to be realised by many managers," said business development director Harry Buls.
"The opportunity for accessing information, broadening horizons and reaching otherwise hidden contacts are numerous once the basics of the Internet are understood."
Bob Norton and Cathy Smith from the Management Information Centre will speak at the Boardroom Briefing event at Mytton Fold Farm Hotel, Whalley between 4.00pm and 7.00pm.
Anyone who wishes to attend can contact Lifetime Training on 01254 301333.
