35/39 LEIGH-TYLDESLEY-BOOTHSTOWN/LITTLE HULTON-SWINTON-MANCHESTER Extended to Piccadilly - inward via John Dalton Street and Spring Gardens and outward via Peter Street. Linked with service 658 to provide through facilities from Manchester to Tamar, Bickershaw, Platt Bridge and Wigan.
540 BOLTON-WESTHOUGHTON-HINDLEY GREEN-CASTLE HILL-HINDLEY-WIGAN Monday to Saturday evening service between Bolton and Wigan reduced to hourly, the 30 minute frequency remains between Bolton and Westhoughton. All evening journeys operate via Service 540 - the 542 route (via Crossdale Road) being withdrawn.
551 LEIGH-BOOTHSTOWN-WALKDEN-BOLTON Saturday evening service withdrawn.
582 LOWTON-LEIGH-ATHERTON-BOLTON All Lowton journeys withdraw. Daytime frequency reduced from every six to every seven and a half minutes and evening and Sunday frequency reduced from every 20 to every 30 minutes. All Bolton alternate daytime journeys (every 15 minutes) are linked with Service 36 to provide through facilities to Bolton General Hospital, etc.
598 WIGAN-BELLE GREEN-TAMAR-LEIGH Service withdrawn - replaced between Tamar and Leigh by extended journeys on service 671.
658 LEIGH-TAMAR-BICKERSHAW-PLATT BRIDGE-WIGAN Monday to Saturday daytime service withdrawn and replaced by services 35 and 39 which are extended from Leigh to Wigan.
671 LEIGH-HIGHER FOLDS Selected Monday to Saturday daytime journeys (every 30 minutes) extended to Tamar partially replacing service 598.
