IT was a case of deja vu for the producer of an amateur show when she cast her daughter in the leading role.
Julie Harrison of the St Mary's Amateur Dramatics Society saw her daughter get married five times this year - but only one was for real.
The other four were in the society's latest production There Goes the Bride, which runs until Saturday at St Mary's Church Hall in Penwortham.
Julie said: "I have had that second time around feeling because my own daughter Sarah was only married in May and not only did she agree to play the part of the bride in the play, but to wear her own wedding dress.
"Thankfully our own wedding morning was very happy and we didn't have to cope with any of the disastrously funny events which occur in the play."
