Accrington Stanley 2 Lancaster City 1
LANCASTER City came to the Crown Ground on the back of an unbeaten run, but despite being behind at the interval, Stanley came back strongly to take all three points.
In the opening minutes Brett Ormerod's cross was met by Taylor who headed just wide. Then on 10 minutes Lancaster won a free kick after Rogerson conceded a foul of which Diggle put wide.
The visitors won a corner after 12 minutes and took the lead when Coleman connected with a free header to score.
Stanley almost equalised on 20 minutes when the ball ran through the keeper's legs, but it was somehow scrambled to safety. From the resultant corner, Rogerson headed against the post.
Despite various chances, Stanley could not prevent a half-time scoreline of being one goal down.
The equaliser came when Taylor headed down for Welsh to equalise.
Rawstron's long-range dipping shot almost made it 2-1 on 57 minutes, but Stanley had to wait until 68 minutes when a long ball through the middle found Welsh whose shot went just inside the far post to give Stanley a well-deserved lead.
