A TAXI passenger was rescued after being left dangling by his seat belt when the vehicle overturned in Darwen last night.
Michael Curic, 40, from Mellor, was trapped when the seven-seater Nissan rolled onto a grass verge off Long Hey Lane after swerving to avoid another vehicle.
The taxi driver, Alan Isherwood escaped from the vehicle but his passenger, who suffered a back injury, had to be freed by fire and ambulance crews.
Both men were taken to Blackburn Infirmary but were released after treatment.
