BLACKBURN Rovers scored a splendid victory at the City Ground last night.
Swedish star Niklas Gudmundsson put Rovers on the road to victory with a first half header while striker James Beattie continued his prolific scoring form, converting Stuart Ripley's cross.
Graeme Le Saux again caught the eye for Rovers and the England defender, recovering from injury, played 80 minutes.
Coach Terry Darracott said: "It was a smashing win and a really worthy result. We were the better side from the start and there was some very good all-round performances."
