JOBLESS marches hit the road to highlight unemployment problems in East Lancashire. The demonstration march set off from Burnley and took in Padiham, Altham, Accrington and Blackburn before reaching Blackpool for a mass rally at the Conservative Party conference.
Education minister Tim Eggar described Nelson and Colne College as a good example of what the college of the future will be like, during a visit.
