GLAMOUR galore complete with sequins and feather boas - that's what is on offer in the Blackpool heat of the first ever national drag queen contest.
Lily Savage and Danny La Rue hopefuls will be lining up to parade their talent in the dazzling event.
And a Blackpool drag shop, Devines, is sponsoring their very own 24-year-old Devinette.
He will have a complete, stunning outfit from their fabulous range of frocks including shoes, jewellery, wigs and a complete makeover.
Rosemary Devine, who owns the discreet shop along with her daughter, said: "Our 'lady' - alias Jade - is stunning, a natural.
"He looks like a model and moves like a model and we are really confident of his chances in what we feel will be a hot contest."
The unique competition, at Flamingos,Talbot Road, Blackpool, on October 18, has been organised to celebrate the video release of the hilarious comedy To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar, a drag queen smash starring Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes.
The winner will compete with other finalists at the national final to be held at London's premier drag club, Madame Jo Jo's, on October 31 for a grand prize of an exclusive photo session and a helping hand on the road to fame and fortune.
Daring contestants can just turn up on the night to prove their suitability for the title by taking part in three rounds - a parade of frocks, an interview session and a talent section where the sky is the limit!
