JACKIE Greaves reckons Guinness is good for you!
And shortly she's setting out to prove it.
The school secretary - who hit the national headlines when she was rescued climbing in the Cairngorms - will be scaling the 3,115 ft Striding Edge in the Lake District on October 20.
She will be raising cash for the Search and Rescue Dogs Association, which saved her life. And, on her back, she will be carrying 40 cans of Guinness!
Jackie, of Rowan Avenue, Lowton, said: "I know this is a bit unusual but I hope it will attract sponsorship from local people for such a good cause."
Each can weighs about 1lb 1oz each - more than 42lb - but she hopes to turns lbs to £s selling them all on her way to the summit.
Jackie, who works at nearby Lowton West Primary School, is confident she'll raise £500 to help buy one of the dogs which helped to rescue her.
If anyone wishes to sponsor Jackie contacted 01942 741640.
