TOP East Lancashire chef Nigel Haworth cooked up a tasty treat to raise funds for a special learning support unit.
Nigel was joined by his partner Craig Bancroft and "cheese detective" Peter Pepperill for the cookery demonstration at Salesbury Primary School.
While Nigel cooked five tempting dishes, Craig gave a talk on wine. Peter, who works closely with Nigel and Craig seeking out new and unusual varieties of cheese and olive oil, also gave a talk.
The evening was organised by the Friends of Salesbury School and looks set to raise around £900. Headteacher Peter Corbett said: "It was great fun and we are very grateful to Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft for their generosity. They also donated several prizes to our raffle including a meal for two and an overnight stay at Northcote Manor."
The funds will help pay for a new learning support unit being built in the school grounds for special needs pupils after Christmas.
