JUST champion! That's Astley & Tyldesley Cycle Speedway.
They wrapped up the Northern Junior Speedway League title in record-busting style at Tameside.
Having led the table all season, there was no way they about to fold and, with Damien Hack unbeaten, they scored 153 points - well clear of Heckmondwike (90), Tameside (40), Stockport (33) and Sheffield (19).
To cap a great day for A & T Hack (U13s) and Lee Smethills (U16s) won the Northern Junior Grand Prix series.
A & T enhanced their national reputation by reaching the British Schoolboy Team Championship Final at Oxford.
They finished fourth, fading after a solid start, Smethills top-scoring.
Surprise winners were Llanelli ahead of holders Norwich and Hethersett.
