A SUPERMARKET in Clitheroe is going crackers to raise money for Children In Need.
Booth's in the town and across Britain are selling special crackers containing toys. Asda, Argos and Sainsbury's are among others joining the scheme in which 25p from the sale of each cracker will go towards the BBC appeal.
Booths alone hope to raise £2,500 from sales in its stores nationwide.
The colourful crackers are branded with the Pudsey Bear logo and contain a variety of items from bear model kits to bookmarks.
