ALAN WHALLEY'S WORLD
EVER had a hair-raising experience of the supernatural kind? Then Tim Follin, who has a video documentary project in hand, would love to hear from you.
Tim, the son of the late Mike Follin, a close St Helens journalist chum of mine in past years, hopes to expand his video to a 90-minute study of hauntings, premonitions and other weird and unexplained incidents.
The 26-year-old from Derbyshire Hill, says: "I plan to feature interviews with the witnesses and reconstructions of their stories, using actors from the drama course at St Helens College." He's hoping to finish it in time to go on sale locally by Christmas.
He adds: "I'm particularly interested in stories relating to old buildings and churches - and any photos, featuring unexplained lights or shapes would obviously be especially interesting."
Tim, who's been working for the past nine years as a musician in connection with computing and entertainment, hopes that as well as making a positive contribution to the St Helens community, his video will present him with a fresh career move. His ambition is to break into the film business.
He welcomes written replies from our readers and asks that, along with their creepy little tales, they should include such details as the place, time of day, their feelings and reactions.
TIM'S address is 13 Derbyshire Hill Road, Parr, St Helens WA9 2LJ; or you could give him a ring on St Helens 734656.
