POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an alleged 'road rage' assault which took place on National Road Courtesy Day, aimed at promoting calm, rational behaviour behind the wheel!
The incident happened at about 6.20pm on Friday, October 4 in the Shaw Street area of St Helens, and resulted in the driver of a Ford Fiesta XR2 being treated for injuries at Whiston Hospital. A 31-year-old man was later arrested and charged with assault.
