UFOs are real and that's official. Government UFO researcher Nick Pope will put the rubber stamp on the phenomenon - which have been reported across Morecambe Bay - at a special meeting in Lancaster this Saturday. The Lancashire UFO Society claim the meeting will also include footage of exclusive and remarkable video and photographic evidence of real life sightings.
UFO expert Tim Matthews told the Citizen: "Initially a sceptic, Nick came to believe in not only the existence of UFOs but also of extra-terrestrial life. This is your chance to hear a government researcher reveal the truth about UFO phenomenon."
Nick Pope has worked for the Ministry of Defence as a member of the secretariat air staff- which specialises in UFO reports - for the last three years.
He has also published his own book on UFOs called Open Skies Closed Minds where he claims that UFOs are of great significance in terms of the country's defence.
During the last few months the Citizen has published extensive reports about extraordinary sitings across the Bay as well as news about a special response vehicle which roams the region on call to emergency sightings around the clock.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at the banqueting suite at Lancaster town hall at 7pm on October 12. Nick will also be available to sign his new book at Waterstones on Saturday afternoon from 2pm. For tickets and more information ring 381520.
