RURAL businesses in Lancashire will be given an insight into the latest communications technology at a series of workshops and seminars.
The aim of the events is to show how rural firms can compete regardless of their geographical location.
The events are being organised by Lancashire Enterprises with the support of Lancashire County Council, the Rural Development Commission, the European Union and the Co-operative Bank plc.
Business people do not need an in-depth knowledge of technology and computers to benefit from these events," said Annette De Pol, project officer with Lancashire Enterprises.
"There will be discussions by businesspeople who have adapted to the new technology available and we will be showing the audience how to take full advantage of the ever increasing range of opportunities that are presenting themselves.'
The first seminar will be held at Sawley Village Hall on November 5 followed by a workshop there on November 19.
