A PARTY of Chinese engineers scrutinised Potterton's boiler design and manufacturing procedures at Padiham.
Six engineers and interpreters visited Potterton as part of a multi-million pound deal to make Lynx 2 combination boilers in China - exclusively for the Chinese market.
The visitors represented all aspects of boiler design and manufacture at the recently privatised Qianfeng Machinery and Electronics Company, based in central Chengdu province.
Potterton no longer make the boilers but allowed the visitors to see their production lines in operation.
