CAMPAIGNERS in East Lancashire committed to finding a cure for breast cancer are set to spread their wings.
The local branch of Breakthrough UK, which has raised more than £21,000 since 1992, wants to recruit members from across the whole county.
Regional co-ordinator Ruth Loft said: "I believe this is a really exciting time to be working for Breakthrough and we are lucky to have the support and encouragement of the staff at HQ who are dedicated professionals and 100 per cent committed to finding a cure for breast cancer."
The first meeting of the new group will probably take place in the New Year. The next event is a coffee morning on November 2 at Mrs Loft's home in Ryburn Avenue, Blackburn.
