DARWEN has a rich history and undeniably requires a museum as quickly as possible.
Granted, we do possess good library facilities, but an excellent suggestion could be to set up or house a museum for our town on or near the former Technical College premises near the library.
Please would our councillors of all political leanings, the people of Darwen and our local MP, Mrs Janet Anderson, and Lancashire County Council leader Mrs Louise Ellman suggest such a very sound idea to the authorities in London - and Darwen would be proud again.
