BOWLING club members are appealing for help in tracing £1,000 of stolen equipment.
It had just been etched with security markings.
Thieves broke into the Lower Darwen United Reformed Bowling Club building on Branch Road and took a Flymo lawnmower, a strimmer, a wheel barrow, a hedge cutter, an electric drill, four extension reels and four door locks.
All the large items were etched with the letters L Darwen URBC.
Anyone who sees the missing equipment or knows where it is can contact Blackburn police on 51212.
