PEOPLE from all walks of life are being sought to add to the list of volunteer Samaritans in Blackburn.
The service is hoping a new recruitment drive in the area will produce a number of sympathetic people to help man the service 365 days a year and 24 hours a day.
Jean, a volunteer at the Blackburn Samaritans said: "It is a commitment and we are always very busy, but it is rewarding work."
Information meetings are being held at the Samaritans centre, 105 New Park Street, Blackburn on Wednesday October 23, Thursday October 31, both at 7.30pm, and on Saturday, November 9.
